PicoMoney is a platform for creating tradable, transparent, and vibrant virtual currencies for your business, open source project, association, or even yourself.
Many successful companies such as Zynga are already issuing virtual currencies in their games and the prepaid phone minutes are hugely popular world wide.
For businesses we want to take these successes and allow you to build them into your own projects and help you create completely new business models to profit from.
We are not just talking games, but everything from web hosting, dating sites, small business sites to personal sites can take advantage of the virtual currency economy.
Open source projects and charities can issue publicly viewable Karma currencies to their contributors. Companies can publicly show support for these projects by exchanging Karma currencies for their own currencies.
Our whole platform is open to developers. You will be able to create your applications such as GitKarma with built in ways of monetizing your apps. More on this soon, but you can already get started now if you are adventurous with our API which is based on the new OpenTransact payment standard.
PicoMoney is not yet officially launched, but we are in a quiet open beta. So please excuse us if you see some problems.
